How the score works

Two numbers, one score, five levels

Readiness

Eight questions on foundations

People, technology, data, security and governance. This decides your readiness level, on the same one-to-five scale the paid AI Readiness Assessment uses, so the two connect.

Opportunity

Three questions on room to move

How much manual administration and repetitive communication you carry, and whether you already know where AI could help.

The score

Half readiness, half opportunity

A high score means there is both room for AI in your business and the foundations to use it. A low readiness score with a high opportunity score is the most common result, and the 90-day plan is written for it.

Level 1Exploring

AI is a topic in your business, not yet a decision. The foundations need work before anything goes near a customer, and the first step is understanding what you would use it for.

Level 2Experimenting

There is real room for AI in your business. Some foundations are in place and some are not; the gaps are specific and fixable in a quarter.

Level 3Structured

You have most of what an AI project needs. The next step is choosing the right one and designing it properly, rather than buying the first tool that demos well.

Level 4Scaling

Your business is ready for AI that does real work. The value now is in architecture and sequencing: several solutions that share one design.

Level 5Embedded

AI is part of how your business runs. The gains from here come from governance, measurement and finding the next use case before your competitors do.
