The Be AI 6D Framework

Six stages from your first AI question to a business that runs on it, and the loop that keeps it improving.

Every engagement we run, from a half-day workshop to a multi-year transformation, sits somewhere on these six stages. That is how you always know where you are, what comes next, and what it will cost to get there.

1 · Discover where AI already is 2 · Define where it pays 3 · Design the architecture 4 · Deploy into real workflows 5 · Defend govern and control 6 · Develop measure and expand Develop feeds the next Discover. The loop is the point. One framework. Every engagement.
Every engagement we run sits on one of these stages. Numbering is real: they happen in this order, and the sixth feeds the first.

Why a framework at all

A framework is a list of the places AI projects fail, in order, with a name for the work that prevents each one.

AI projects fail in predictable places: a tool bought before the problem was defined, a pilot nobody designed the approval step for, a policy written after the incident, a system nobody was watching. Each of those has a stage whose whole job is to prevent it.

The framework is also how you always know what an engagement will cost. Discover and Define are fixed fee. Design ends with a build plan tight enough to quote. Deploy is quoted per solution. Defend and Develop are monthly. There are no surprises because there is no stage without a price model.
