Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect personal information, on this website, in the AI Opportunity Score and in the services we provide.
Who we are
Be AI is a practice of Be Digital Limited, a New Zealand company. We are the agency for the purposes of the Privacy Act 2020 in respect of the personal information described in this policy. Questions about privacy can be sent to the contact details at the end of this page.
Information we collect on this website
When you contact us, request a workshop or a proposal, or ask for your AI roadmap, we collect the details you give us: your name, organisation, email address, phone number and any message you write. We record the page you sent it from, the time, and your IP address to prevent abuse of the form.
We use analytics to understand how the site is used. Where analytics are enabled, they are configured to anonymise IP addresses and are not used to identify you.
The AI Opportunity Score
While you answer the twelve questions, your answers are held in your browser only. Nothing is sent to us or stored by us until you choose to request the written roadmap. If you request the roadmap, we store your name, organisation, email address, your twelve answers and the result, so we can send the roadmap and so the shared result link works. If you never request the roadmap, we never see your answers.
How we use it
We use your enquiry to reply to you, to arrange a workshop or a call and to prepare a proposal. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking, and we never sell or rent personal information. We do not use your enquiry, your Score answers or anything you tell us to train an AI model.
How long we keep enquiries
Website enquiries and Score results are kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically. This deletion is enforced by a scheduled process on our website, not by good intentions. Information that becomes part of a client relationship is kept for as long as that relationship and our legal obligations require.
Information in the services we provide
When we assess, design or build AI systems for a client, the client is the agency that controls the information in those systems and we act as their service provider. We access client data only to do the work agreed, only where it changes the outcome, and we do not take copies of client data for any other purpose. Where a design involves an AI model provider, the design names the provider, what data it receives and where that data is processed, before anything is built.
Where information is held
Website enquiries and Score results are held in our website’s database with our hosting provider. Client work is held in the systems agreed in the client’s engagement letter.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and, where enabled, analytics cookies. It does not use advertising cookies.
