Stage 1 · Discover · where AI already is

AI Readiness

Before you buy another AI tool, find out where your business actually stands. A two-week assessment of your people, processes, technology, data, security, governance and opportunity, ending in a written readiness score, your priority use cases and a 90-day action plan.

The problem

Readiness is not enthusiasm

Most businesses that are keen on AI are not ready for it, and most that are ready do not know it. Readiness is a set of specific facts: whether your data is where the AI can reach it, whether the people who would use it trust it, whether your permissions would let it see things it should not.

We go and find those facts. The result is a score you can act on, and a plan that starts on Monday.

Seven dimensions

What we assess

AI literacy, appetite and the skills already in the building.

Process

Which workflows AI could improve, and which should stay human.

Quality, accessibility and ownership of the information AI would rely on.

Security

Where AI use exposes you today, including the tools staff already use.

Governance

Policies, controls and responsible-AI practice, or the absence of them.

Opportunity

Where the return is, sized honestly, and what it would take to reach it.

Questions

What people ask about AI Readiness

How much of our time does it take?

About six hours across the two weeks: interviews, a questionnaire, one working session and the presentation. We do the rest.

Will you need access to our systems?

Read-only, scoped, and only where it changes the answer. We tell you exactly what we will look at before we look, and we never take copies of your data.

What if the answer is that we are not ready?

Then the 90-day plan is how to become ready, which is a great deal cheaper than finding out after the tool is bought. Most businesses are further along than they think in some dimensions and behind in others.

Does the free AI Opportunity Score replace this?

No. The Score is a five-minute signal based on your own answers. The Assessment is evidence-based and produces a plan. Many clients do the Score first and bring the result to the Assessment.
